About
Jowitt is a small leather goods studio based in Sydney, focused on making objects that are quiet, functional, and made to last.
Our work is guided by restraint — in form, in materials, and in process. Each piece is designed to do exactly what it needs to do, without excess, decoration, or trend-driven detail. The result is a collection of leather goods that feel considered, useful, and timeless.
We work with a tight palette of materials, primarily full-grain, vegetable-tanned leathers from respected tanneries in England, the United States, and Australia. These leathers are chosen for their structure, surface character, and how they wear over time. They are honest materials, intended to soften, mark, and develop patina through daily use.
All products are slow made by hand in our Sydney studio, in small batches or to order. This allows us to stay close to the making process, refine details incrementally, and maintain consistency across every piece that leaves the studio.
Jowitt products are designed to be used, not stored. They are made to sit comfortably in your hand, pocket, or bag — and to become better through use rather than worse. No unnecessary features. Just well-made leather goods, designed with care and intent.
