Made by hand in our Sydney studio, the Hand Stitched Belt is a refined expression of traditional technique and modern design. Each belt is saddle stitched entirely by hand using red, wax-coated thread — a method chosen for its strength and distinctive contrast. Cut from Australian black skirting leather, tanned by AusTanners in Victoria, it features a smooth matte finish that will gradually develop a rich surface character with wear. Finished with a solid brass heel-bar buckle in either natural brass or nickel plate.
The belt measures 38 mm wide, giving a strong, balanced proportion ideal for denim and heavier fabrics.

About the Leather
Sizing
Each belt is made to your measurement for the best fit. Measure an existing belt from the inside edge of the buckle to the hole you use most often — this measurement is your belt size in inches.
If you can’t measure a belt, choose a size about 2 inches (5 cm) larger than your trouser or jeans size.

Leather Character
Leather is a natural material, and no two hides are ever the same. Subtle variations in colour, tone, and surface markings are a hallmark of genuine full-grain leather. These natural characteristics — slight creases, grain textures, or small marks — reflect the life of the hide and the traditional processes used in its tanning. Each piece is unique, with its own individual character that will continue to evolve beautifully with age and use.
