Dog ID Collar – Dark Tan
Handmade in our Sydney studio, the Dog ID Collar is a minimalist slip-on collar designed to keep identification on your dog at all times — without the bulk of a traditional walking collar.
It’s intended for dogs that wear a harness when out walking, where attaching a lead to a collar isn’t required. The design ensures your dog can always wear an ID tag, even when a harness is used instead of a collar. This collar is not intended for lead attachment.
Made from Sedgwick & Co. Traditional Bridle Leather, the collar is firm, durable, and built to withstand everyday wear. Over time, the leather softens slightly and develops a rich patina, becoming more comfortable and characterful with use.
At 12 mm wide, the collar is intentionally narrow and unobtrusive, sitting neatly at the base of the neck once slipped on.
Sizing
This collar slips over the head, so sizing is taken differently to a traditional buckle collar.
Using a soft tape measure, measure around the widest point of your dog’s head, typically over the ears. The tape should sit comfortably against the head — not tight, not loose.
This measurement is the total circumference of the collar to order. Once slipped on, the collar should sit neatly towards the base of the neck, without feeling restrictive or loose.
If you’re unsure or between sizes, sizing up is generally recommended to ensure the collar slips on and off easily.

Leather Character
Leather is a natural material, and no two hides are ever the same. Subtle variations in colour, tone, and surface markings are a hallmark of genuine full-grain leather. These natural characteristics — slight creases, grain textures, or small marks — reflect the life of the hide and the traditional processes used in its tanning. Each piece is unique, with its own individual character that will continue to evolve beautifully with age and use.
