Handmade in our Sydney studio, the pen sleeve is a simple, understated way to carry writing instruments with care. Designed as a natural companion to our notebooks, it brings the same material focus and restraint to an everyday object.

Made from Wickett & Craig English Bridle Leather, the sleeve has a soft, tactile feel and enough structure to protect its contents without feeling rigid. It comfortably holds two pens side by side or one larger fountain pen, keeping them secure and easy to reach.

The leather is full-grain and vegetable-tanned, chosen for its surface character and longevity. Finished with hand-stitched seams and burnished edges, the sleeve will soften and shape with use, developing a rich patina over time.

About the Leather

Produced by Wickett & Craig, one of America’s oldest and most respected tanneries, this English Bridle Leather is known for its rich colour, subtle sheen, and enduring quality. Each hide is full-grain and vegetable-tanned in Pennsylvania using traditional methods, then hot-stuffed with waxes and oils to create a smooth, refined surface. With a slightly softer hand, it reveals a gentle pull-up and natural warmth that develops beautifully with use, gaining depth and character over time.
