Handmade in our Sydney studio, Tray 01 is a simple, functional object designed to bring order to everyday items. Moulded from a single piece of leather and hand finished, it’s intended for use on a desk, bedside table, or entry surface — a place to rest the objects you reach for daily.
The tray is made from Australian skirting leather sourced from AusTanners, chosen for its firmness, durability, and ability to hold form. The moulded construction gives the tray gentle structure while retaining the natural character of the leather. Over time, the surface will soften subtly and develop a rich patina through use.
Edges are hand finished, and the form is deliberately understated — tactile, practical, and built to last.

Leather Character
Leather is a natural material, and no two hides are ever the same. Subtle variations in colour, tone, and surface markings are a hallmark of genuine full-grain leather. These natural characteristics — slight creases, grain textures, or small marks — reflect the life of the hide and the traditional processes used in its tanning. Each piece is unique, with its own individual character that will continue to evolve beautifully with age and use.
